In its live plus same day DVR ratings last Friday, Fringe dropped down to a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating after a 1.9 rating its first two weeks.  But it made up some ground with three days of DVR viewing, bumping up to a 2.3, down only a tenth from the previous week’s 2.4 L+3 adults 18-49 rating.

Here’s the table of the first few weeks live plus same day DVR viewing and live plus three days DVR viewing (I included the live plus seven results for the one week that’s available, the January 28 L+7 numbers won’t be available until Monday):

Date L+SD L+3 L+7
21-Jan 1.9 2.7 2.8
28-Jan 1.9 2.4
4-Feb 1.6 2.3

Because Fringe is on the bubble, I’m sure these numbers will be scrutinized by some.   I’d guess that outside of PR, Fox would have been happier if both the L+SD and L+3 numbers for the February 4 episode were a 1.8 adults 18-49 than the 1.6 growing to a 2.3.   But only losing 0.1 week to week in the L+3 numbers is better than losing 0.3!
