Premiere Episodes Draw Over 1.1 Million Total Viewers

NEW YORK, NY – January 9, 2013 – IFC’s hit original series, Portlandia, starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, returned for a third season stronger than ever on Friday, January 4, with two back-to-back episodes (10 pm & 10:30 pm). The season opener at 10 pm ET/PT grew nearly +30% among total viewers above the series’ season two premiere. The two new episodes combined delivered over 1.1 million total viewers, 731,000 homes and 751,000 viewers in the coveted A18-49 demo.
