Go Giants! With four World Series games, Fox broke CBS’s five week victory lock on the weekly broadcast primetime adults 18-49 ratings, finishing well above the competition with a 3.7 adults 18-49 ratings average for the week.

Although it looks likely to be the second lowest viewed World Series in history, it was more than enough to elevate Fox to the top for a week.

ABC and CBS tied for second place with a 2.6 rating average. NBC trailed in fourth (2.3 rating average).

In a World Series fueled week, Fox, also topped the press release friendly, but advertiser ignored, average viewership for the week.

The network’s average viewership is charted in millions of viewers, just like we report all other average viewership information on the site, and adults 18-49 is charted as ratings points. Note the units (million viewers on the left, rating on the right) below the bars.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
