The final season of “Downton Abbey” will make its way (legally) to the United States just after the calendar turns to 2016.

PBS has announced premiere dates for much of its early 2016 lineup. “Downton” will kick things off with its sixth and last season at 9 p.m. ET/PT Jan. 3. It will run through Feb. 21, take a week off opposite the Oscars on Feb. 28, then have its series finale on March 6.

Not on the list, yet: The much-anticipated “Sherlock” special. PBS says it will air sometime in 2016 but hasn’t set a date.
