So much for the “Summer of Scripted Originals.”  The results won’t surprise anyone who has been following the ratings this summer, but James Hibberd has posted some of the summer rankings.

Of course all of the shows at the very top  are unscripted.  In fact, the highest ranking summer scripted show is repeats and not originals of The Big Bang Theory.

Hibberd didn’t bother to include the repeats of Two and a Half Men — they too would’ve trumped the best original scripted performer, Lie To Me, which performed more than 20% better than Rookie Blue.

Hibberd notes the rankings include 7 days of DVR viewing, but that’s not quite true.  The numbers are actually “Most Current” (Live+7 where available, Live+SD where it isn’t). So the numbers for say,  Shaq Vs. are Live+SD only and only for the premiere, since the numbers for the current week are not included in the rankings.
