Poor Rake. It was a television show that had the theoretical blueprint for success. It had a well known star in Greg Kinnear. It was based on a popular Australian show. It had an American Idol lead-in,which, back when the show was scheduled, was a much bigger asset than it is now.  But from the start, the audience just wasn’t there.  It premiered to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating, then rapidly declined. It was moved to Friday, where it started at an 0.5 then fell to a 0.4, below Whose Line Is It Anyway? So now it comes to an ignoble end, with its last two scheduled episodes getting the dreaded Saturday burn-off. How do you think it will fare tonight? Make your prediction, then ponder the fact that this spring three current or former hosts of The Soup had primetime broadcast shows.
