“Six Seasons and a Movie” may be the most powerful fan slogan of all time. Deadline reports that Hulu is in talks with Sony about ordering a sixth season of Community. The cult comedy was canceled by NBC after five seasons. The show’s passionate but small fanbase seems like a natural fit for online distribution. Sony is known for doing whatever it takes to keep its shows going, including lowering licensing fees. Several of its series have been brought back from the dead, including Unforgettable. Community already airs in syndication on Comedy Central, but more episodes could lead to other second run opportunities for the show..
