A late recovery in whipsaw action today saw the market recover most of Monday’s losses, but on Monday when things were bad, Fox News channel benefited, easily beating CNN and MSNBC combined in both total viewers and adults 25-54. Fox dominated with its morning programming as well, O’Reilly Factor had nearly 3.6 million viewers and The Five set a new high in total viewers with 1.801 million and had it second best outing with adults 25-54 with 419K.

CNN: 675,000 viewers (227,000 in 25-54)
CNBC: 314,000 viewers (143,000 in 25-54)
FBN: 131,000 viewers (43,000 in 25-54)

FNC: 1,331,000 viewers (685,000 in 25-54)
CNN: 538,000 viewers (198,000 in 25-54)
MSNBC:455,000 viewers (114,000 in 25-54)
CNBC: 359,000 viewers (117,000 in 25-54)
