Please note that all three shows were available on demand and in a variety of digital avenues prior to last night’s premieres on television.

Nurse Jackie averaged 653,000 viewers in its initial 9pm telecast up 7% from last season’s premiere and over three telecasts Nurse Jackie averaged 1.1 million viewers. The Big C drew 581,000 viewers in its opener, down 35% from last year’s opener.  So for the 9pm hour, the shows combined to average more than 3 million fewer viewers than HBO’s Game of Thrones.

It didn’t get any better for The Borgias which drew 604,000 at 10pm and 930,000 across three telecasts, down 43% from last season’s premiere.
