The second episode of USA newcomer Covert Affairs averaged 5.2 million and a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49.   That was an increase in viewers over the 4.9 million for the premiere.  Though there were slightly fewer 18-49 viewers last night than for the premiere, it still rounded up to an identical 1.6 rating with adults 18-49.   Still the highest-rated new cable drama of the summer in the advertiser-salivating adults 18-49 demo, even though TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles had over 2 million more viewers, it only managed a 1.5 rating with adults 18-49.

While it’s typical for shows to drop 10%~15% after their premieres on the broadcast side so far that hasn’t happened for either Covert Affairs or Rizzoli & Isles.

Details on other Tuesday cable shows like White Collar, Warehouse 13, Hawthorne & more.
