Jersey Shore saw more ratings highs Thursday night with 5.8 million viewers and a 3.0 rating in the advertiser coveted adults 18-49 rating, which is sure to lead all of basic cable for the week and even in the top few shows when the broadcast networks are counted in.

Sooki, might even sneak past Snookie and cable adults 18-49 ratings king True Blood for the week since True Blood is competing with the Emmy Awards (though I don’t expect many True Blood fans to bail, especially since the best drama Emmy that True Blood is up for won’t be announced until after True Blood ends).

True Blood’s numbers are still more impressive to me than Jersey Shore’s since HBO is only in about 1/3rd of the homes MTV is in.  But, the numbers are most impressive for both and the 18-49 rating doesn’t matter to HBO since it doesn’t sell advertising.
