Without any major sports coverage on to take the top spots, it ended up being a news-heavy night in the Friday cable ratings last week. “CNN Tonight” led with a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.54 million viewers, while FOX News’ “The Ingraham Angle” followed closely behind with a 0.6. A&E’s “Live PD” rounded out the top 3 of the night with a 0.6, the same as what it had scored the week before.

Meanwhile, The Discovery Channel’s “Bering Sea Gold” was able to tick up one-tenth from its previous 0.3 to a 0.4 this time around, with 1.39 million viewers. Also on the Discovery Channel, “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail” held steady with yet another 0.4. However, HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” broke its 0.4 streak and fell one-tenth to a 0.3.
