It was The Discovery Channel’s “Gold Rush” that managed to land on top of the Friday cable ratings this week, with the series scoring a 0.9 rating in adults 18-49, which was two-tenths higher than the 0.7 that it had scored the week before. A special episode of “Gold Rush” also landed in the Top 5 with a 0.6. In addition, A&E’s “Live PD” scored the second-highest spot of the night, after maintaining its previous 0.7 rating for the second week in a row.

ESPN’s usual NBA regular season broadcasts landed fairly high in the ratings as well, starting with the Golden State vs Milwaukee game, which scored a 0.6. The broadcast of the later game between Houston and Phoenix also managed to grab a 0.6. Meanwhile, both “Rap Game” and “Bring It!” maintained their previous 0.3s, once again, on Lifetime.
