Like in previous weeks, it was the NBA playoffs that landed on top in the Friday cable ratings this week. ESPN’s back-to-back live broadcasts of the Warriors vs Pelicans and Rockets vs Jazz games led with 1.4 and 1.3 ratings in adults 18-49, similar to what the playoff games from the previous Friday night had scored. Meanwhile, the NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the NHL semi-finals also landed fairly high in the ratings, with 0.5 and 0.4s.

Additionally, HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” took a minor hit this time around, falling one-tenth from a 0.4 to a 0.3 with 1.499 million viewers. It was the same story with The Discovery Channel’s “Bering Sea Gold” as well, which dropped a tenth to a 0.2.

Also on the Discovery Channel, “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail” (0.2) fell three-tenths, and A&E’s “Live PD” maintained its previous 0.6 yet again.
