Like several other nights last week, the MLB playoffs easily won the cable ratings Friday night.
TBS’ broadcast of the Yankees vs. Red Sox game scored the top spot of the night with a 1.4 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 5.57 million viewers. It was the only broadcast of the night to cross the 1.0 barrier, while a post-game special on the network came second with a 0.7. Elsewhere, Fox Sports’ broadcast of the Dodgers vs. Braves MLB game rounded out the top 3 with a 0.7 of its own, and 2.03 million viewers.
On A&E, “Live PD” landed fairly high in the top 25 as well, scoring the same 0.6 as it had the Friday before. The same could not be said, however, for HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” which ticked back down from its previous 0.4 to a 0.3.
