This week, “Live PD” surrendered its chokehold on the top of the Friday cable ratings.
Instead, the top performance of the night came from the MLB, with TBS’ broadcast of the Washington Nationals vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers scoring a 0.8 rating in adults 18-49. This compared quite favorably with the 0.5 of last week’s top sporting event, when the Arizona State Sun Devils battled the California Golden Bears. In second place, the Yankees played the Twins in the ALDS for another 0.8 on the MLB network, while TBS returned to take third place with a Cardinals vs. Braves matchup at 0.6.
Elsewhere, “Live PD” on A&E was relegated to the fourth slot despite holding at 0.5. In the midst of further sporting fare, “Black Jesus” brought Adult Swim a 0.3, having risen from 0.2, while WETV’s “Love After Lockup” returned to 0.3 after recently crumbling to 0.2. On Food Network, “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” remained trapped at 0.2, finding itself in the domain of “Gold Rush” on Discovery Channel, “What You Get For Your Money” on HGTV, and “Paw Patrol” on Nickelodeon.
