The Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament gave TBS some pretty big ratings Saturday. The later of its two games (Oregon vs. Kansas) posted a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 and 9.31 million viewers, far and away the biggest show of the day on cable or broadcast TV. The earlier game between Xavier and Gonzaga drew a 1.7 and 6.05 million viewers.

A preview of TBS comedy “Angie Tribeca” after the games posted a 0.6. HBO’s premiere of “Independence Day: Resurgence” and Adult Swim’s “Samurai Jack” were the best non-basketball performers, each drawing a 0.7.
