Host Ronda Rousey, musical guest Selena Gomez and a cameo by Tina Fey helped give “Saturday Night Live” above-average ratings for the Jan. 23 show.

“SNL” drew a 5.0/12 in households in the overnight metered markets, pending updates for possible weather pre-emptions. It also scored a 2.5 in adults 18-49. For the season, the show is averaging a 4.6 in households and 2.2 in 18-49 in the overnights.

The episode was the top show of night on the broadcast networks, prime-time or otherwise, in the 18-49 metered markets. Fey opened the show with a parody of Sarah Palin’s Donald Trump endorsement.
