Final broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017

CBS’ “60 Minutes” and “Wisdom of the Crowd” adjusted down from Sunday’s early ratings after accounting for odd start times — the network’s primetime schedule began at 7:38 p.m. ET — following an NFL game.

“60 Minutes” came down 0.4 in adults 18-49 to a 2.4 rating. “Wisdom of the Crowd” adjusted down a tenth of a point to 1.0. On the other side of things, “Sunday Night Football” adjusted up to 19.19 million viewers and a 5.9 in adults 18-49 on NBC.

Final ratings for the primetime portion of CBS’ NFL game weren’t available. Its fast national numbers are noted with asterisks in the chart and are excluded from the network average.

Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.

Time Shifted Viewing:
 Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
