Like many other nights this week, it was a sports-heavy edition of the Thursday cable ratings. ESPN led the night with its broadcast of the college football bowl game between Stanford and TCU scoring a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49. Meanwhile, the network’s broadcast of the earlier bowl game between Virginia Tech and Oklahoma State followed closely behind with a 1.0 and 4.32 million viewers. Some of the network’s other post coverage games landed several other spots throughout the night as well, with 0.5 – 0.3 ratings.

Additionally, TNT’s broadcast of the NBA basketball game between the Rockets and the Celtics rounded out the Top 3 of the night with a 0.6. On USA, “Damnation” managed to climb its way back into the Top 25 this week and held steady with yet another 0.2.
