Instead of the NFL, this week it was the MLB at the top of Thursday’s cable ratings.
The main event of the night was TBS’ broadcast of the Washington Nationals playing the Los Angeles Dodgers for a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49. This was a fair amount lower than the 1.4 of the NFL game between the Eagles and the Packers that made its way to the top of last week’s chart. In second place, the St. Louis Cardinals went to battle against the Atlanta Braves for a 0.9, while “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” rose from 0.4 to 0.5 on MTV to take the third slot.
Beyond the top 3, “Flip or Flop” remained consistent and brought HGTV to the head of the pack of 0.3’s. MTV’s “Ex on the Beach” managed to rise from 0.2 to 0.3, moving beyond the 0.2 that “The Lies that Bind” on Investigation Discovery continued at. Other recurring 0.2’s came from “Impractical Jokers” on TruTV and “Million Dollar Listing” on Bravo, while both “Chrisley Knows Best” on USA and “Outrageous Pumpkins” on Food Network posted additional 0.2’s.
