Following its strong premiere last week, FX’s “Mayans M.C.” stayed at the top of the Tuesday cable ratings this week, despite taking a predictable ratings hit.
The “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off scored a 0.8 rating in adults 18-49 with its second episode, down three-tenths from its premiere’s 1.1, with 2.01 million viewers. “Mayans” still ranks as the network’s highest-rated show of the year, but will likely be dethroned by the premiere of “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” later tonight. Elsewhere, USA’s “WWE Smackdown” was down a tenth week-to-week from its previous 0.8 to a 0.7.
On USA, “The Purge” followed up its own series premiere last week as well, and fell only one-tenth from a 0.6 to a 0.5. Bravo’s “Below Deck Mediterranean” was steady with another 0.5, as was MTV’s “The Challenge: Final Reckoning (0.5).
After ticking up with its last episode, TBS’ “Wrecked” fell back down a tenth to a 0.3. Meanwhile, OWN’s “The Haves and the Have Nots” maintained its previous 0.4 once again.
