“The Bachelorette” generated another strong performance in the Monday primetime ratings this week, with its annual “Men Tell All” special.
The ABC reality series took the night’s no. 1 spot in both the adults 18-49 demo and in total viewers, not only tying its season high 1.7 rating from last Monday, but also rising to its largest audience of the season so far (6.59 million). Pending updates, the episode’s 1.7 rating and 6.59 million viewers also make it the highest-rated and most-watched “Men Tell All” special since 2015.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as well for “Grand Hotel,” which followed “The Bachelorette” by ticking back down from its previous 0.6 to a 0.5.
NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” took a small hit as well, slipping from a 0.9 to a 0.8. “Dateline” (0.6) also fell a tenth week-to-week.
Elsewhere, CBS’ “Love Island” ticked down from the 0.5 that it scored last Monday to a 0.4 this week, tying its current low in the demo. “The Code,” however, stayed even with its second straight 0.3.
On FOX, “Beat Shazam” scored the same 0.6 as its last episode, but the same could not be said for “So You Think You Can Dance,” which dropped from a 0.5 to a 0.4. The CW’s “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” (0.2) similarly dipped one-tenth week-to-week, while “Whose Line is it Anyway?” matched its 0.2 rating from a week ago.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing: Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
