“The Bachelorette” held well in its second week, dropping only one-tenth from its season premiere’s 1.3 last Monday to a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 this week. It tied for the night’s no. 1 spot in the 18-49 demo, while the finale of “The Fix” grabbed a 0.5 at 10 p.m., up a tenth from its previous episode’s 0.4.

NBC’s “The Voice” managed to recover slightly from its 1.1 final rating last week – ticking back up to a 1.2 – and scored the night’s largest audience with 7.85 million viewers. The season finale of “The Enemy Within” followed “The Voice” in steady fashion, posting yet another 0.6.

Similarly, the CW’s “Legends of Tomorrow” wrapped up its fourth season with a 0.3, matching its rating from a week ago. On FOX, the season 3 premiere of “Beat Shazam” raked in a 0.7 with 2.48 million viewers, down just a tenth from its season premiere last year, but on par with its second season’s overall average.

Elsewhere, CBS aired a rerun of “The Big Bang Theory” series finale (0.9, 1.1), which lifted “The Code” up from its previous 0.6 to a 0.7, making it the show’s highest-rated episode since its series premiere. This year’s “Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special” rounded out the night for the network with a 0.5 and 3.07 million viewers.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience):
The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing:
Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

[…] Ratings are in from Monday night and the “Bachelorette” drew 4.52 million viewers (down from 4.6 million last week) and a 1.2 rating (down from a 1.3 rating last week). If you wanna compare it to last season, Becca’s second episode drew 5.78 million viewers and a 1.6 rating, but it was also later in the month. So numbers are down a little, but they’re down for every show. I will say this all day every day until I’m blue in the face. The show isn’t going anywhere. They win the women’s demographic of 18-54 pretty much every Monday night for 2 hrs and that’s an advertiser’s wet dream. You can’t just go off the numbers, because there’s much more that goes into ratings. […]
