The CW’s Sunday night shows both ticked up this week, as “Supergirl” rose from a 0.3 to a 0.4 in adults 18-49, and “Charmed” rebounded from its series low 0.2 to a 0.3. The same could not be said for ABC’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” though, which slipped from its previous 0.9 to a 0.8.

“Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” (0.6) and “Shark Tank” (0.7) followed “AFHV” in steady fashion, while ABC’s broadcast of the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” drew in a 0.9 with 3.27 million viewers. This was down six-tenths from the 1.5 it had scored last year, when it had aired on CBS.

Speaking of CBS, without a late-afternoon NFL lead-in, the network’s scripted series took this week off in favor of a live concert event. After kicking the night off with its usual broadcast of “60 Minutes” (1.3), CBS aired its “Garth! Live in Notre Dame” special, which garnered a strong 1.3 for itself with 8.85 million viewers.

Elsewhere, an NFL overrun (4.6) helped FOX’s Sunday night scripted series climb back up again, with “The Simpsons” (1.6), “Bob’s Burgers” (1.2), “Family Guy” (1.2), and “REL” (0.6), all more or less matching their last NFL-boosted episodes.

Meanwhile, NBC’s broadcast of the Chargers vs. Steelers “Sunday Night Football” game posted an early 4.8, down six-tenths from the preliminary rating that last week’s “SNF” game had scored.

: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience):
The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing:
Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
