It was a down night in the primetime ratings for several of Sunday’s original scripted shows this week.
On CBS, “60 Minutes” kicked the night off with a 0.8 rating in adults 18-49, down from the 1.1 its last broadcast had posted several weeks ago. A new episode of “God Friended Me” followed with a 0.7, down two-tenths from its previous episode and tying its season low. “NCIS: Los Angeles” (0.7) also tied its season low, while “Madam Secretary” fell a tenth to a new series low 0.4.
Elsewhere, ABC’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” posted a 0.8 at 9 p.m., similarly down from its last few outings. The network rounded out its night with a broadcast of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which posted a modest 0.5.
NBC’s broadcast of the first “How to Train Your Dragon” grabbed a 0.5 as well, while the network’s special “Elvis All-Star Tribute,” grew from its lead-in’s 0.5 to a 0.6 with 5.46 million viewers.
FOX’s “Simpsons” and “Bob’s Burgers” reruns at 7 and 7:30 p.m. were boosted by the network’s lead-in broadcast of this year’s NASCAR’s Daytona 500, and posted predictably inflated 2.1 and 1.4 ratings. The night’s new episodes of “The Simpsons,” “Bob’s Burgers,” and “Family Guy,” however, scored 0.9s across the board, all up from what they had scored the week before.
The CW’s “Supergirl” matched its last episode’s 0.3, but the same could not be said for “Charmed” (0.2), which ticked down a tenth to tie its season low in the demo.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing: Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
