It was a good night for CBS’ Thursday comedies.
The network kicked the night off with “The Big Bang Theory,” which posted a 2.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 13.97 million viewers, hitting new season highs in both measures. Its lead-out, “Young Sheldon,” similarly grew two-tenths to a season high 2.0 with 12.06 million viewers.
“Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” followed “Sheldon,” and scored a 1.1, on par with its previous episodes this season. “S.W.A.T.” capped off the night for CBS with a 0.8, down a tenth from its 0.9 last Thursday.
Elsewhere, ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” slipped a little week-to-week, down from a 1.7 to a 1.5, while “A Million Little Things” fell one-tenth to a 1.0 – its first ratings dip since moving to Thursday nights. “How to Get Away with Murder,” however, held steady with its third straight 0.6.
It was a mixed night for NBC as well. “The Titan Games” (1.0) and “Law & Order: SVU” (0.8) each inched down a tenth, but “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” went the other way, and ticked up from a 0.8 to a 0.9. “Will & Grace” rounded the night out with the same 0.8 it had scored a week ago.
On the CW, both “Supernatural” (0.5) and “Legacies” (0.4) inched up a tenth from their episodes last week. FOX took the night off with repeats of “Gotham” (0.4) and “The Orville” (0.4).
