Thursday’s primetime shows held mostly steady in the ratings this week.

After taking a hit last week, ABC’s “Holey Moley” stabilized with the same season low 0.6 rating in adults 18-49 that it scored a week ago. At 9 p.m., “Family Food Night” ticked back up from a 0.3 to a 0.4, while “Reef Break” capped off the night for ABC, with a 0.3 for the second week in a row.

On CBS, “Love Island” grabbed a 0.5, matching both its most recent outing and its episode from last Thursday. Similarly, “Big Brother” took the night’s no. 1 spot once again, and held steady week-to-week with a 1.0 rating and 3.86 million viewers. “Elementary” stayed even with another 0.4 as well.

Elsewhere, FOX’s “MasterChef” (0.7) and “Spin the Wheel” (0.5) both matched their ratings from a week ago, with the former also taking the demo win in the night’s 8 p.m. hour. Combined, they carried FOX to a tie with CBS for the night’s overall 18-49 win.

Additionally, NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night” yet again aired in between reruns of “The Wall” and “Law & Order: SVU,” but still posted its third straight 0.5. The CW’s “iZombie” (0.2) and “The Outpost” (0.1) rounded out the night in steady fashion too, scoring the same ratings as their last outings.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience):
The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing:
Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
