Masked Scheduler's Ratings Smackdown

I received a lot of positive feedback on yesterday's discussion of "GLOW" and what's out there if you want to consume more pro wrestling. I was reminded that the Mae Young Women's Tournament is starting soon on the WWE Network. This will bring together women from wrestling organizations around the world and will highlight how far women's wrestling has come from the days of "GLOW." No one has come forward to get me into a PWG event in Reseda but I was invited to the next Ring of Honor pay-per-view in Vegas!
Moving on ...
It's halfway through the year, so I thought I would share with you my ten favorite shows of the year -- so far. I'm not saying these are the best shows. I never understood what that means, and several of the critic darlings (which I have watched) are not included. These are the shows that I enjoyed the most and that really made me happy. The only rule is that the show had to complete its run to be included. You can't watch everything.
So, here's the Masked 10 TV Faves for the first half of 2017. They are offered sort of in the order of favoriteness. I would strongly recommend them all.
- "Better Call Saul" (AMC)
- "The Americans" (FX)
- "Silicon Valley" (HBO)
- "Billions" (Showtime)
- "Jane the Virgin" (The CW)
- "Fresh Off the Boat" (ABC)
- "GLOW" (Netflix)
- "Homeland" (Showtime)
- "Catastrophe" (Amazon)
- "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (The CW)
No need to comment, but I'm sure some will, so it's @maskedscheduler on Twitter and
Enjoy the weekend!

: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience):
The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing:
Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
