NBC coasted to a ratings win Tuesday as “America’s Got Talent” and “World of Dance” easily led their time periods.
“AGT” was even with last week’s 2.2 rating in adults 18-49 and rose slightly in viewers (11.27 million vs. 11.14 million). “World of Dance” (1.5) was off a tenth of a point vs. the early numbers last week (it adjusted down in the finals) but finished well ahead of its 10 p.m. competition.
ABC’s documentary series “The Last Defense” opened with a 0.5, an improvement on the July 2017 debut of “Somewhere Between” (0.3) in the time period. FOX’s “Beat Shazam” (0.7) and “Love Connection” (0.5) equaled last week’s ratings.

The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing: Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
