FOX’s “The Masked Singer” followed up its massive series premiere a week ago with another dominant Wednesday night win, despite taking a sizable hit week-to-week.

The reality-competition series led the night’s primetime ratings with a 2.3 in adults 18-49 and 7.06 million viewers. Despite being down seven-tenths from its premiere’s 3.0 last week – when it was facing considerably less primetime competition – “The Masked Singer” still beat all of the night’s other shows by at least a whole point, maintaining it as a strong primetime presence. “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back” took much less of a hit this week, falling just a tenth from its premiere’s 1.2 to a 1.1.

Elsewhere, it was a big night for ABC, starting with the return of “The Goldbergs,” which posted a 1.3 with 5.13 million viewers, up two-tenths from its midseason finale in December. It was followed by the series premiere of the network’s 90s-set “Goldbergs” spin-off, “Schooled,” which got off to a solid start by retaining 100% of its lead-in’s 1.3 – scoring higher than “American Housewife” ever did in the same time slot throughout the first half of the season.

Additionally, “Modern Family” returned down a tenth with a 1.3 as well, while “Single Parents” (0.8) tied its series low and “Match Game” (0.6) premiered a tenth below its previous season’s overall average.

The night also marked the return of NBC’s “One Chicago” lineup, as both “Chicago Med” (1.3) and “Chicago Fire” (1.3) rose one-tenth from their fall finales, but “Chicago P.D.” came in down from its last episode’s 1.1 to a 1.0. “Med” was, however, the night’s most-watched program with 8.64 million viewers.

On CBS, “SEAL Team” held steady with a 0.8 for the second week in a row, and “Criminal Minds” managed to tick up from a 0.7 to a 0.8.
