FOX took some small hits across the board in the Wednesday primetime ratings this week.

“MasterChef” kicked off the night for the network with a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49, down one-tenth from the 0.8 it scored a week ago. However, despite that small ratings hit, “MasterChef” did manage to rise a little bit from its 3.09 million viewers last Wednesday to 3.15 million this time around. In the adults 18-49 demo, “First Responders Live” also slipped one-tenth from its previous 0.5 to a 0.4.

ABC’s “Press Your Luck” held steady with the same 0.7 rating as its last episode. “Card Sharks” followed it by ticking up a tenth to a 0.6, and “Match Game” stayed even with another 0.6 – winning the night’s 10 p.m. hour once again.

On CBS, “Big Brother” held onto the night’s no. 1 spot with a 1.0 rating and 3.82 million viewers, steady with its episode last Wednesday. Meanwhile, its lead-in, “Love Island,” grabbed its first 0.5 of the week, up from the pair of 0.4s it scored on Monday and Tuesday.

Elsewhere, NBC’s “The InBetween” slipped from its previous 0.4 to a 0.3, tying its current season low in the demo. Pending updates, the CW’s “Jane the Virgin” is also currently at a 0.3 rating – up one-tenth from its last episode – but it will likely adjust down in the finals later today.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience):
The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing:
Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
