It was a sports-heavy night in the Wednesday cable ratings this week, with ESPN scoring several of the highest spots of the night. The network’s broadcasts of the Iowa vs Boston College and Texas vs Missouri games landed on top with 1.0 and 0.9 ratings in adults 18-49. ESPN’s other post and pre-game coverage raked in some more 0.9 – 0.3s throughout the night as well. Additionally, VH1’s “Black Ink Crew” managed to tick up one-tenth from its previous 0.6 to a 0.7 with 1.437 million viewers.

On The History Channel, “Vikings” took a minor hit, dropping one-tenth from a 0.5 to a 0.4, while “Knightfall” fell two-tenths down to a 0.2 this time around. Meanwhile, TNT’s “The Librarians” ticked up from the 0.3 it had scored last week to a 0.4. Outside of the Top 25, SyFy’s “Happy!” held steady with another 0.2.
