Prospect Park licensed the rights to All My Children and One Life to Live (which ends its run on ABC in January) with plans to put the shows online. But will those plans ever see the light of day? In addition to navigating negotiations with the various unions, Prospect Park is having difficulty obtaining the financial backing it seeks according to AllThingsD’s Peter Kafka:

If you’re one of the people who thinks many folks no longer make a distinction between stuff they watch on TV and stuff they watch on the Web, this will make perfect sense. But [producer Jeff] Kwatinetz has yet to win over enough financial backers, which is why he’s now talking to people like me, hoping we’ll help him make his case.
