Just like in the live + same day charts, “The Masked Singer” and “This is Us” were the highest-rated broadcast shows for the week of Sept. 23, but it was the latter that posted the biggest demo gain in the week’s live +3 ratings.

FOX’s “The Masked Singer” reigned supreme as premiere week’s highest-rated, non-sports broadcast with a 3.3 L+3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, up 0.8 points (+32%) from its initial 2.5 L+SD rating. NBC’s “This is Us” followed closely behind with a 2.9 L+3 rating, but posted a larger gain than “Masked Singer,” after growing 1.1 points (+61%) across three days of delayed viewing.

Elsewhere, CBS’ “NCIS” stayed on top of the week in the total viewer measure, with a 15.65 million viewer L+3 audience, up 3.07 million (+24%) from its initial L+SD audience. However, it was NBC’s “New Amsterdam” that generated the week’s largest total viewer gain, after growing its audience by 4.55 million (+77%).
