The 2011 63rd Annual Emmy Awards nominations are in.

Sadly, my predicting, without predicting, method I used last year of simply choosing the previous year’s winner (which picked a bit better than half the winners in what was for the Emmys an inertia breaking year) falls off the rails in several instances this year since the 2010 Emmy winners were not nominated in every category (as 2009 winners were in 2010).

Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, who based on Emmy inertia would be a near certain lock to win were he nominated, is ineligible this year (no Breaking Bad during the year), leaving the field wide open for a new winner. My prediction method is useless, so I won’t even hazard a guess. Who do you think?

In a double poll, here’s your chance to tally who you think WILL win, and who you think SHOULD win.

Feel free to explain.

The 2011 63rd Annual Emmy Awards airs on Fox on September 18, 2011.
