The 2011 63rd Annual Emmy Awards nominations are in.

Sadly, my predicting, without predicting, method I used last year of simply choosing the previous year’s winner (which picked a bit better than half the winners in what was for the Emmys an inertia breaking year) falls off the rails in several instances this year since the 2010 Emmy winners were not nominated in every category (as 2009 winners were in 2010).

In another shocking departure from Emmy inertia, last year’s winner Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) isn’t nominated, so like the drama actor category the drama actress Emmy is going to a new winner. My simple prediction method of picking last year’s winner breaks down here, but I’m sure your superior methods can make a guess.

In a double poll, here’s your chance to tally who you think WILL win, and who you think SHOULD win.

Feel free to explain.

The 2011 63rd Annual Emmy Awards airs on Fox on September 18, 2011.
