“Jimmy Kimmel Live” is Up Week to Week in Viewers and Adults 18-49

“JKL” Outperforms “Fallon” in Viewers for the 5th Straight Week

Weekly National Ratings:

During the week of July 27, 2009, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” saw week-to-week increases of 2% in Total Viewers (1.30 million vs. 1.27 million) and 17% in Adults 18-49 (523,000 vs. 447,000).

  • “JKL” bettered NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” during the week in Total Viewers (1.30 million vs. 1.29 million), representing the 5th consecutive week that “Kimmel” has outperformed “Fallon.” In fact, during the week, “JKL” outdrew the NBC late-night program in viewers on 3 of the 4 nights of originals: (Tuesday – 1.19 million vs. 1.18 million; Wednesday – 1.55 million vs. 1.18 million; Thursday – 1.27 million vs. 1.19 million).  Note: “JKL” normally airs repeats on Mondays.
