JIMMY FALLON AND SETH MEYERS LEAD THE LATE-NIGHT WEEK OF MARCH 2-6

Fallon Beats His ABC and CBS Time-Slot Competition in All Key Measures, Meyers Outdelivers ‘Late Late Show’ in Every Key Category

NEW YORK — March 12, 2015 — “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has decisively won the week of March 2-6, outdelivering its ABC and CBS time-period rivals in all key ratings measures – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.   And at 12:35 a.m. ET, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” topped CBS’s “Late Late Show” in every key category.

Note that CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman” was in rebroadcast last week and “Tonight,” “Late Night” and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel” live aired encores on Friday.

For the week, “Fallon’s” 1.10 rating in adults 18-49 generated a winning margin of +77% over “Kimmel” (0.62) and +96% versus CBS’s “Letterman” encores (0.56).

At 12:35 a.m. ET, a 0.48 rating in 18-49 for “Late Night with Seth Meyers” delivered a +50% advantage over CBS’s “Late Late Show” (0.32).  In their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m., “Late Night” beat ABC’s “Nightline” by a +17% margin in adults 18-49 (0.55 that half-hour vs. “Nightline’s” 0.47).
