In entirely unsurprising news, NBC has picked up another season of its summer franchise “America’s Got Talent.”

The network also announced Tuesday that host Nick Cannon and judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel will all return for Season 12 in 2017.

“With the addition of Simon, the chemistry between our judges has grown even stronger and it’s easy to see how much enthusiasm they bring to the show night after night,” Paul Telegdy, NBC’s head of reality and alternative programming, says in a statement. “Nick adds a boundless energy as host that ties everything together. We’re thrilled to have such a strong team returning for Season 12.”

“AGT” is the No. 1 series on broadcast TV this summer. The Tuesday edition is averaging a 2.4 same-day rating in adults 18-49 and 11.43 million viewers, while the Wednesday shows thus far have averaged 2.2 and 10.71 million.
