TBS has canceled its comedy series “Clipped” after one season. Which may raise the question, “What was ‘Clipped’?”

It was a multi-camera sitcom set in a barbershop in Massachussetts that employed a bunch of former high-school classmates. Not friends, necessarily, but hey, they all went to school together. It starred Ashley Tisdale, Ryan Pinkston, Mike Castle, Lauren Lapkus, Matt Cook, Diona Reasonover and former “Cheers” star George Wendt.

It ran for 10 episodes from June through August. Its same-day ratings were pretty modest — 0.45 in adults 18-49 and just over 1.2 million viewers. (TBS touted the cumed-up, multiplatform numbers that pushed its audience to around 3 million.)

TBS has now done away with all of its multi-camera shows and is rolling out a new lineup of shows in 2016. “Clipped” joins this list of series canceled in 2015-16.
