CBS has put out a series order for the Katherine Heigl-led drama “Doubt,” the network announced Saturday.

The series will follow Heigl’s Sadie, a smart, chic, successful defense lawyer working at a boutique firm who begins to get romantically involved with her client, who may or may not be guilty of a brutal murder. It marks Heigl’s return to primetime TV after her short-lived NBC series, “State of Affairs.”

In addition to Heigl, the series will also star Laverne Cox, Elliott Gould, Dreama Walker, and more. It was redeveloped after being failed to be picked up during last year’s pilot season, and comes from writers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater.
