FOX has five new scripted series — new to its schedule, anyway — plus the return of “Cosmos” on its schedule for 2018-19.

Three new comedies — the resurrected “Last Man Standing,” “The Cool Kids” and “Rel” — will debut in the fall. Dramas “The Passage” and “Proven Innocent” are on tap for midseason, and “Cosmos: Possible Worlds” will be on the air in spring 2019.

The trailers are below.

‘The Cool Kids’

Three friends in a retirement community (David Alan Grier, Leslie Jordan and Martin Mull) are mourning the loss/celebrating the life of a friend when a new resident (Vicki Lawrence) moves in and shakes up their routine. From “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s” Charlie Day and writer Paul Fruchbom. It will air at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT Fridays.

‘Cosmos: Possible Worlds’

A follow-up to the 2014 series, “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,” “Possible Worlds” will explore “previously uncharted realms, including lost worlds and worlds to come, and those that we may one day inhabit in a thrilling future we can still have.” Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson returns as host of the series.

‘Last Man Standing’

After a six-season run on ABC — and a year off after the show was canceled there — “Last Man Standing” comes to its new home in the fall (in the same timeslot it previously occupied, 8 p.m. Fridays). Tim Allen will once again play Mike Baxter; regulars Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders and Jordan Masterson will also return.

‘The Passage’

Based on the best-selling novels by Justin Cronin, “The Passage” centers on the relationship between a young girl (Saniyya Sidney) and a government agent (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) who has second thoughts about turning her over to a secret government research program that’s producing some less-than-ideal results in test subjects. Elizabeth Heldens (“Friday Night Lights”) created the series.

‘Proven Innocent’

Ten years after she was wrongfully convicted in a high-profile trial, a lawyer (Rachelle LeFevre) works to free other people in similar circumstances. Russell Hornsby, Vincent Kartheiser, Nikki M. James and Brian d’Arcy James also star in the series from writer David Elliot (“Knightfall”) and executive producer Danny Strong (“Empire”).

After his marriage falls apart, a man (Lil Rel Howery, “Get Out” and “The Carmichael Show”) tries to rebuild his life in Chicago and be a good father to his kids. Howery co-created the show (which is based on his own life) with writers Josh Rabinowitz and Kevin Barnett. Sinbad, Jess Moore and Jordan L. Jones also star. It will air at 9:30 p.m. Sundays.
