FOX is the new home of the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants.

The TV fate of the two contests has been in limbo since the summer. When Donald Trump, who formerly co-owned the Miss Universe Organization with NBC, announced his presidential bid and made incendiary comments about illegal immigrants, Spanish-language broadcaster Univision dropped the Miss USA contest.

NBC dropped the broadcast a short time later and moved to cut ties with the organization. The Miss USA telecast landing on Reelz in a last-minute deal. Trump threatened to sue NBC, but the two sides settled out of court.

Trump subsequently sold the Miss Universe Organization to WME | IMG, which has brokered the new deal with FOX.

Miss Universe will air Sunday, Dec. 20 on FOX. The network will also air the 2016 Miss USA pageant, a date for which hasn’t been set.
