FX is playing the “Feud,” adding another anthology series to its roster of shows.

As with two of its other three anthologies, “Feud” comes from executive producer Ryan Murphy. Each season will chronicle “epic conflicts.” First up is a dramatization of the rivalry between Hollywood legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, who worked together on the cult classic “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”

Susan Sarandon will play Davis, and Jessica Lange — who’s worked with Murphy on “American Horror Story” — will play Crawford.

“The series will offer a seductive, insightful look at what lies behind legendary personality conflicts,” FX CEO John Landgraf says in a statement.

Murphy also produces the anthology shows “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story” for FX. The channel’s other anthology, “Fargo,” is run by Noah Hawley.
