“GLOW” still has a little more of its story to tell.
Netflix has officially renewed the female-led wrestling dramedy for a fourth season, which will also be the show’s last. The announcement today comes over a month after “GLOW’s” third season debuted on the streaming service. Just like its first three seasons, the show’s final run will consist of 10 episodes.
Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, “GLOW” takes a look at both the personal and professional lives of a group of women leading a wrestling organization in Los Angeles during the 1980s. Its ensemble cast includes Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, Britt Baron, Sydelle Noel, Kate Nash, Britney Young, Gayle Rankin, Kia Stevens, Jackie Tohn, and more.
Netflix, like all other streamers, does not release the viewership statistics for any of its original series, making it impossible to know the exact size of “GLOW’s” audience. But, with that being said, the series has been a consistent critical darling ever since its breakout debut on the platform back in 2017, and has carved out a nice place for itself in Netflix’s prestige TV lineup.
The first three seasons of “GLOW” are available to stream on Netflix now. There is no word yet on when the final season will premiere.
