CBS is keeping “NCIS” around through at least 2018.

The network has picked up its top-rated drama for two more seasons, which will take it through a 15th year on the network. Series star Mark Harmon, who’s also an executive producer, has signed a new deal to take him through Season 15.

The series is the No. 5-rated drama on broadcast TV in adults 18-49 (same-day ratings) this season and first by a big margin in viewers. It’s also a big hit in other countries.

“It’s extraordinary that in its 13th season and with over 300 episodes to its credit, ‘NCIS’ continues to excel at such a high level on a global scale,” CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller says in a statement.

“NCIS” is the first 2016-17 renewal CBS has announced (“The Big Bang Theory” is two years into a three-season pickup that runs through 2016-17). It joins these shows that have been picked up for next season and beyond.
