ABC’s 10 p.m. Tuesday curse continues: The network has canceled its drama series “Of Kings and Prophets” after just two episodes.

The show, which set out to tell the story of Saul and David from the Old Testament, premiered to weak ratings (0.8 in adults 18-49) and got worse from there. Tuesday’s episode shrunk to a 0.5, which led to the cancellation.

“Beyond the Tank” will fill the 10 p.m. ET/PT Tuesday spot for the remainder of the season.

“Of Kings and Prophets” becomes the second show airing at 10 on Tuesdays — ABC’s worst timeslot — to be canceled this season. “Wicked City” lasted three episodes in the fall before being yanked. “Of Kings and Prophets” actually fared worse over its first two episodes.

The show joins these series that have been canceled or are ending in 2015-16.
