ABC has picked up its first-year comedy “Splitting Up Together” for 2018-19.

The show has performed fairly well so far, averaging a 1.3 same-day rating among adults 18-49 over its first six episodes. The first four have grown to 2.2 in the demographic with a week of delayed viewing.

“Splitting Up Together” stars Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson as a married couple who, as the title implies, decide to divorce but continue to live in the same house, alternating time spent in a detached guest house. Its ratings have been helped by a bit of a halo effect from “Roseanne” leading off Tuesday nights, but it’s also retained better than 85 percent of the 18-49 audience from its immediate lead-in, “Black-ish.”

More renewals:

– “How to Get Away with Murder” will be back for a fifth season next fall, joining fellow Shondaland series “Grey’s Anatomy.” The drama starring Viola Davis averaged a 0.9 in adults 18-49 this season, more than doubling to 2.0 after seven days.

– “American Housewife” will be back for a third season next fall as well, joining the network’s other previously renewed series. Led by Katy Mixon, the series has averaged a 1.2 in adults 18-49 throughout its second season, just slightly down from its first season live + same day average.

– “Black-ish” has also been renewed for another season on ABC. One of the network’s staple comedies, it’s fourth season has averaged a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49, just barely down from its third season’s average 1.5.

– “Fresh Off The Boat” will return for a fifth season too, and it’s renewal doesn’t come as much of a surprise. This year it averaged a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 with 3.83 average million viewers.

– The freshman “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off, “Station 19,” will be returning for a second season on the network. Throughout its first season, the series has averaged a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49.

– The network also renewed another one of its freshman dramas, “For the People” for a second season this afternoon. The legal drama has averaged a 0.7 with 2.64 million viewers throughout its first season.

“Speechless” is already in the fold for next season. The lone veteran series still awaiting word on its future is “Agents of SHIELD.”

The ABC series join these shows that have been renewed for 2018-19 and beyond.
