“Supergirl” is sticking around for a full season — or very nearly a full season, anyway.

CBS has ordered seven more episodes of its rookie superhero show, which premiered to strong ratings but has been on a mostly downward slide since then.

“Supergirl” premiered to a 3.1 rating in adults 18-49, tying NBC’s “Blindspot” for the best series debut of the fall. It has fallen off considerably since then — after a 2.2 for its second episode, the subsequent three episodes have been below 2.0. Its current same-day average is 2.06.

In Live +7 ratings, the show averaged a 3.8 for its first two episodes (L+7 figures for episode 3 will be available later Monday).

CBS has now extended the seasons of all four of its first-year fall shows. “Limitless” and “Life in Pieces” will each run a standard 22 episodes, “Supergirl” will run for 20 episodes and “Code Black” for 18.
